The Suns of Couros are a group of friends who aim to have fun at Empire LARP by playing a scheming, ruthless bunch of virtuous highborn who will do what it takes to protect the Empire, Nation and Chapter. Our focus is on Winter Magic, the Draughir lineage, and the Virtues of Vigilance and Loyalty. However, other character types, archetypes and focuses are more than welcome.

Themes of pack loyalty, power at a price, sacrifices for the greater good and resilience in the face of loss have remained constants over the years we have played Empire.

We will always support members if they wish to generate plot themselves, but we also do not want that self-generated plot to undermine the group, or members of the group intentionally. We want players to have a safe place to come to on the field, and to be backed up wherever possible. We do not wish to see out of character ill feeling created between members due to in character tensions. The Suns of Couros should be a group for enjoyment, not stress; cohesiveness as a team is one of the primary goals of the Chapter.

We do realise that character development may lead to drama within the group; this is fine and fun! However, please bear in mind when embarking on drama such as this that we want such disagreements to be resolvable in character within the group ultimately. We do not want it to lead to actions that result in your character becoming opposed utterly to the group, or to individual group members. If this happens we will likely ask you to leave the group, both in character and out of character.

We will unconditionally oppose out of character any personal plots that aim to murder or steal from other group members.

At the end of the day, we are a big, loyal family in character, and we hope that this can be carried over into out of character as well.
